Chris, a Hoosier native, grew up in Fortville. He pursued his higher education at Purdue University and Trinity Baptist College. Later he served in the US Air Force, stationed in Ramstein, Germany. With a passion for ministry, he has pastored in Florida and successfully established churches both in Florida and Indiana.
Throughout his journey, Chris has dedicated himself to serving in various capacities, both as a full-time pastor and bi-vocationally. In Indiana, he contributed his leadership skills as the Moderator for the East Central Baptist Association. Additionally, he held the position of Chairman of the Camp Committee on the Executive Board of SCBI. Recently, he undertook the role of Send City Missionary for Indianapolis under NAMB, where he spearheaded church planting initiatives in the metropolitan area and provided invaluable guidance and support to emerging leaders.
Chris has been happily married to his wife, Paula, for 39 years. They are blessed with four wonderful children and eight amazing grandchildren (just ask him!). When he's not busy with his ministerial responsibilities, Chris indulges in his love for art, theater, and the delightful taste of Starbucks coffee.
